Militant attack in Srinagar: 5 CRPF jawans killing

Srinagar: In a suspected terror attack in the city, five CRPF jawans and two militants were killed in firing in Bemina area of Srinagar.

According to TV reports,  four CRPF jawans were also injured and two militants holed up near the paramilitary's camp in Bemina. Heavy firing was exchanged between the jawans and militants as police suspected it to be a terror attack.

The reports said that two-three terrorists were involved.

This is the first militant attack in three years in Srinagar.
